Happy New Year! The 3 of us have just spent a cold, drunken, noisy hour at the top of the field behind the house, watching the moon rise, the Northern Lights pulsing and the clock ticking through to 2016. The locals - over the hill - set off their fireworks but hopefully didn't miss the spectacular light show that Mother Nature provided. Hopefully our nearest neighbours didn't object to us sharing their field. I didn't hear any bleating, anyway.
